The current focus: Thematic Initiative on Heritage of Astronomy, Science and Technology

The UNESCO has forwarded a correspondence to ask if Mauritius holds​ specific heritage sites pertaining to t​he themati​c initiative on heritage ​of Astronomy, Science and Technology.​

The UNESCO also would like to know if such sites exist in Mauritius, and if there is a possibility to contribute financially to the implementation to an initiative for which there could be a heritage on astronomy, science and technology.

The NatCom has accordingly initiated consultations to be informed of the possibilities of including sites in line with the astronomy, science and technology in the National Heritage List.
